Everyone needs to read the US Constitution again! ” abridging the freedom of speech… Interfering with the right to peaceably assemble…”  With that said every group has a “right” to demonstrate to show their view point.

Whether or not you like the group or agree with the message they have the Right! Any group can be offensive to Someone! The very title of a group can be offensive. White Supremacist…check – Black Lives Matter… check get the point? Attempting to exclude or separate others can offend!

Now with that said, NO ONE has the right to come armed for offense or defensive actions! Which is what seems to have occurred in Va! But some people wanted to show they were upset that a statue was going to be removed.  Others had a different mission.

Which is my next point. The Confederacy  and Slavery is a part of American history! Embarrassing as it may be, but it is “OUR” history just the same! To knock down buildings, burn flags, change names of buildings and schools is only erasing history in an attempt to forget and ignore where we came from! Our children and visitors need to know who these people were and what they stood for right or wrong! Our Founding Fathers were slave holders so will we stop using a dollar bill because Washington’s face is on it, or Andrew Jackson on the twenty dollar bill?

And berating our President on not calling out a specific group? REALLY! I couldn’t tell who was who in Va. From what I saw they all looked alike. But  He denounced ALL forms of racial hatred in his original message! He was talking to all of US! Be honest we all have felt some sort of dislike or prejudice towards a group or individual.

Get over yourselves, the US has much greater issues facing us than to keep pushing nonsense to the forefront.
