It Is all About the Message

What bothers me is the fact the NFL and the Players are forgetting their biggest fans, the impressionable kids that idolize them and wear their jerseys. Most kids do not know why they are kneeling.

NFL and Players and all other sports and entertainment professionals, donate money to start up or enlarge a PAL program. Donate your time to bond with the local PD. Ride along with a unit and let the community see YOU with the local PD, especially in those areas who have a strained relationship. But celebrate those officers and communities that do work well together. Lock arms with the team’s local PD, show what true TEAM WORK should look like!

For the communities put money into businesses that need help or open business that will get a depressed community working again! Be the face of change not anger. Teach our youth and young adult men not to be in the streets, be respectful and stay out of harm’s way!

Want to send a message – then denounce ALL gun violence!! When an innocent child, adult or cop gets shot no one wins. And there is way too much of that going on daily! Some the press doesn’t even truly cover.

It is a little hypocritical to convey there is such a race issue when athletes and entertainers of today especially for people of color command millions of dollars. It wasn’t that long ago when the color barrier was broken in MLB. Haven’t we come far!

The US is faced with so many threats around the world, NOW is the time to display unity not division. Show the WORLD we are ONE. Yes we have our issues but we are proud citizens of the United States of American. Salute our Flag – Stand with Pride to be here and have the opportunity to become what you want. That is the message our kids need today!
