To those still on the fence about the COVID -19 vaccine. Do you watch TV? Pay attention to the commercials advertising drugs. No matter what the drug is for, there is a warning for reactions. Some of those reactions sound worse than the condition it is supposed to be curing! But at least there is a warning and you and or your doctor can make a decision if taking the drug is worth the risk!

Now watch the commercials from lawyers advertising for lawsuits for commonly prescribed & OTC drugs that were supposedly approved by the FDA – Zantac; Nexium, Xeljanz, Elmiron…. the list goes on.

My point is this, drugs that were supposedly thoroughly tested and approved before going on the market, took years for adverse reactions to come to light! This vaccine has no caution or warnings. Why because it was approved for emergency use and not tested long enough to see what the reactions or adverse reactions could be either short or long term, which HAS happened to thousands of people!

I for one am not a lab rat! My Body My Choice!

This is addressed to Black and Latino Americans! Black Americans, watch what is happening at the border! Do not get sucked into the racist rhetoric! Stop and think! Your ancestors marched, fought some were beaten, to get the to the place we are today! Look where we are today, some have risen to the middle and upper middle class achieving the basic American dream of home ownership, to college successes, to entrepreneurs, to CEO, CFO and countless high level opportunities in sports and the arts, no one can deny the accomplishments that have been made and continue to be made. But stop and think… if you lost your job, or you suffered a life changing emergency, would the government offer you a home, clothe you and your family, give you free everything? No!
To Latin Americans, to those of you who paid thousands of dollars to even begin the process to obtain US citizenship, to those who studied to take the test, passed the test and proudly raised their hand to finally become a citizen, to those who have family waiting patiently to come to the US to begin the process? How do you feel illegals can just come in and “ jump the line”.

I feel for people who have issues in their countries but crashing our border and expecting freebies and guaranteed benefits is not the answer. The UN, the US along with other countries and support groups should go into these countries and work with those citizens by educating them and assisting them to rebuilding THEIR communities!

My husband & I are hard working people like so many other US citizens, that live within our means, but at times struggle to make ends meet! Where is our help or assistance! Today we see rising taxes, rising prices and we are told to give more!

Stop this madness, I/we owe nothing to anyone! Stop shaming US citizens for enjoying the lives we and our an ancestors built!

However, there is a faction that wants to change America! Black & Latino Americans you are obsolete because you question and fight back, some have changed party affiliation! So they have to import a new voting base. If this happens America will change and not for established US citizens!

I have been watching the growing humanitarian crisis at the border! When will this get under control? If these people are running from countries that need help, I am sure there are American and International groups that can go in and assist the people to rebuild and restore their homeland! Coming to the U.S. to get freebies is not the answer!

The cost is being shouldered by hard working Americans! Most already live from paycheck to paycheck. That includes so-called upper middle class that live in states like NY, NJ, Ct and Ca, where the cost of living, rents, taxes and services are high and families are one job loss, major illness or other unforeseen emergency away from disaster! And when it happens, as it has to the countless homeless individuals and families, what freebies do they get? Due to the many weather related disasters over the past few years, many have lost their homes and belongings. Where is their assistance? It is always hurry up and wait, fill out a zillion documents and wait some more.
Our Veterans still need homes and they are living on the streets, while illegal immigrants are placed in homes..

And what becomes of these ”migrants” they come in and get housing, stipends, free medical and placement in schools. Our schools are becoming more over crowded and municipal services are stretched. That results in higher taxes!

And jobs…. those jobs at grocery stores, restaurants and fast food establishments that were filled by teenagers, students, retirees or those needing a little extra income, are now being utilized by unskilled adults with families demanding they need the minimum wage be increased for them to live on! Another situation that will lead to more job loss and or higher cost to consumers.

It seems like this is a plot to destroy the United States, our sovereignty and our freedoms and rights. The sad part is that the people we trusted and elected to office are the ones responsible for our demise.

I begrudgingly watched the Olympics. But I am so glad I did. I had tears in my eyes as I watched the US athletes carry and wear the American Flag with pride. It felt so good to hear our athletes say how happy they were to represent and live in the Unite States. Maybe just maybe this will reignite the pride and patriotism in this great country and put an end to the CRT!


You know what else I learned from the Olympics? All of the participating Countries big or small wrapped themselves in their flags. We know some, if not all of those countries have issues and strife, but it didn’t stop those athletes from showing respect and pride when they won their medals.

That is something we should all take away from these Olympic Games. GOD Bless AMERICA!

FACT: Civil War – Approximately 400,000 WHITE Union soldiers died.

FACT: All races and genders assisted in the Underground Railroad.

FACT: The Republican Party introduced the 13th Amendment-passed in the Republican strong Senate, not passed in the House due to higher percentage of Democrats could not get the necessary 2/3rds majority. Second time it passed.

FACT : Native Americans had Black Slaves.

FACT: Blacks had slaves.

Let me begin with I don’t condone taking of a life! I believe justice was done in the Chauvin case.

However, everyone needs to take a giant step back from painting police with a broad brush. Are there bad police, untrained police, yes even racist police? Absolutely! They are human beings with human faults and human limitations. Start by weeding those people out. Then improve the interviewing and background checks. Maybe a lie-detector test along with a stronger psychological test should be administered, to get out hidden feelings and ideology. Check social media for comments and associations. Then improve and increase training! Communication skills along with non lethal alternatives need to be added! And training & testing doesn’t end once hired! Quarterly and annual training and testing is a must! If an officer receives complaints or is involved in a questionable incident, desk duty and strong follow-up and re-training should be mandatory. If it continues, then termination and stripped of weapons and licenses.

But….. we should all take a long honest look at the other side. In some of the more recent publicized cases, the people involved were not Ángels! Most had been or were currently in trouble with the law! If one has issues with the law, stay home, keep a low profile and clean up your life!

The other concern ( for everyone regardless of color) if you are approached by police….comply! Stop talking! Comply! Don’t be argumentative! Comply! If for some reason you have an outstanding warrant, or something else is wrong and they want to take you into custody. Comply! And don’t resist, don’t run, don’t start fighting and struggling. People’s emotions change and adrenaline rises in confrontations! Possibly just possibly….if those types of situations didn’t get to that level, then maybe those unfortunate people may still be alive!

The narrative has to change. Chanting defund or eliminate the police is not the answer. We need police especially in Black & Brown communities, for protection from crime. In those communities a majority of the officers are minorities! Teach your kids to respect and trust police. More community policing can heal the distrust. We need reform and healing! Not hatred!

Wake up American parents. Your children, by not going to school are lagging behind other countries. For example China pushes their youth to study math, the sciences and technology as well as English. School is their job, their career! Read “A Day in the Life of a Chinese Student”. It isn’t torture but well structured. What I liked about the structure, there seemed to be no pressure on parents to become unqualified teachers! Those students will be prepared to compete on the world stage!
AMERICA needs to step up or be woefully left behind.
Instead of funding personal pet projects, lining the pockets of themselves and associates, they should be funding our youth.
As wealthy as this Country is, there is NO reason why every school is not technically advanced environmentally as well as with technology and every child has an I Pad or laptop to aide them in there studies.
Schools should be open longer to allow for “study halls” where children can get extra help or complete projects and assignments. After the school day is over children, should be going to other activities, such as sports, dance, or any other activities they have interests or just to play and be kids. Neither child nor parent should be bogged down with hours of mundane homework.
This pandemic has placed parents in an awkward position of being teachers. Parents untrained in the methodology to teach and on average have been out of a class themselves 10years or more, found themselves struggling to understand new terminology, procedures and solutions.
Technology stops for no one!

Even our place as a leader in athletics will be challenged if kids aren’t back to excelling and competing in the classroom and or on the field or the gym The United States will be dead last!

This immigration issue is about to explode. As I have stated before we shouldn’t be inviting or enticing more immigrants to come here especially from the Southern Border. If there are issues in their countries they need to stay and fight for their rights there!
America has a homeless and unemployed people problem, that has not been properly addressed. There are Americans that live below the poverty line and have food insecurities. Until those Americans are assisted we should not be bringing more people in that will go immediately on assistance programs.

But I have a questions for YOU!

Black Americans, do you not see your vote, your needs being diluted and the rights and progress your fore fathers worked and in some cases died for, being given to people who have not earned one red cent. If you lost your job and lost your home, will you be given the same unquestioned assistance these immigrants get. Not just Southern border but from other parts of the world, I have seen immigrants get housing, clothing, free medical care and placed in jobs. Would you get that treatment?

Legal immigrant VISA holders waiting to become Americans. I ask you, who have been patiently waiting, paying lawyers, properly renewing your paperwork & visas, working and paying taxes, how do you feel about these people crashing the border and jumping the line!

To Native Americans, has anyone done for you what is being offered to those crashing the border. Press 1 for Native American language.

To ALL Americans, especially after the pain of COVID, to those who have lost not just jobs but careers and businesses. This is YOUR MONEY. Has anyone asked you for permission to spend money on needless , wish list projects and people who don’t belong here? The money that is being proposed in the so called 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus package, comes from the tax dollars we are paying. A $600 or $1400 even $2000 one time payment is a joke! That money could and should be given to Deserving Americans once a week! Not to the ridiculous “pork” that is in the Bill.

Everyone this is a serious situation and not just about money. We have been locked down and masked up! We can’t travel without proof of a test! Our children are suffering because they can’t attend school. But the the illegals are coming in with COVID or who knows what else. Those that get past the border patrol are coming into our cities and towns. This is a National issue, as this can create a resurgence of the virus.
We need to pay attention and be vocal. Peaceful always but be heard. Contact your politicians and let them know they work for you and theses actions are irresponsible.

This is a follow-up to a previous post. In my opinion the systemic racism narrative being pushed is a vehicle to revive the Black vs White agenda. This can only divide this great nation.

Black Americans especially the children need to learn ALL of the history, not the limited sections that BLM wants to feed them.
Slavery and indentured servants were institutions well developed in Europe, African, and Middle Eastern nations well before anyone thought of the coming to North America!
Africans enslaved Africans and ultimately sold Africans into the lucrative slave trade!

Now fast forward to the American experience, yes there were White people who were “slave owners” that were evil and cruel, however there were those that clothed, fed and even educated those slaves under there control. That is why so many Blacks wanted to run back to their slave masters. There were Blacks who owned slaves, with the reasoning, they were protecting them.

For those want to push White hate, look at history again…

The Emancipation Proclamation passed by a White President 1863 – The 13th Amendment passed by White politicians 1865 – Civil Rights Act vetoed by a Democratic President but overrode by a White Congress the second time 1866 ratified 1870 – 14th Amendment ratified 1868. All this took place before the First Blacks elected to the Senate and House in 1870!

Since then more Blacks have been elected to Local & State positions, to Congress and eventually as President of the US. The questions, should be asked.. what have they done for their constituents.
Good, Bad or Indifferent, our HISTORY, All of our HISTORY should be taught and learned from so we as a Nation can learn from past mistakes and see the progress we have achieved. “ Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”. Due to our failures to heed this warning we ARE now reliving the riots of the 1960s and those that followed.

All children regardless of color, race or creed come into this world without prejudice and fear. They play with whomever will play with them. Hatred and prejudice is taught and it needs to stop now. Teach them well. Teach them with honesty. Teach them humility but they all have inner strength and abilities to succeed. Give them the tools so they can succeed, not words of hate and divisiveness.

This Nation is not a racist Nation but a Nation that has racist & prejudiced people of all spectrums. In fact this World is full of racist & prejudiced people. Prejudice may never be eradicated but it can be over come with honest conversation and healing.

As a person of color, I am confused by the phrase “systemic racism”. If life was soooo bad in the US, then why are there more people of color in higher managerial positions in major corporations. More Black & Latino athletes commanding multi million dollar salaries. More people of color represented in all levels of government. More entertainers in all genres.

Everyday there is another person telling how they rose out of bad situations and “made it”!

But….there are people still living in squalor. Children attending failing schools. And just what have the people that “made it” done for these people! GOD rest his soul but what DID Lewis DO during his time in Congress. Sure he was on the front lines for the civil rights movement in the 60’s but after he “made it“ what substantial change did he make to the suffering people in Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore? Mr. Obama what did he do for Chicago during his tenure as state and US Senator? How about as President?  Did he bring back jobs to suffering communities?  Did he strive for criminal justice reform? Did he give financial support to Black Colleges! Is Al Sharpton working on the problems with NYCHA?

The Democrats are resting on the so-called legacy of JFK. Well that Democratic Party is long gone. Wake up AMERICA! Wake up Black Americans.
Black America I hope you watched and listened to all the Black speakers during the RNC.  President Trump has done so much for Black Americans in the past 4 years. He is for the people…all the people!
