There is no one that doesn’t believe the deaths of  Eric Garner , George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks and Jacob Blake or any other police involved shootings were tragic! And that full investigations and subsequent hearings with applicable punishments for those officers should be done and done quickly.

Everyone should agree, police need to receive intense initial and annual training on de-escalation and race relations. I believe more intense background and psychological checks should be made initially as well as annually and immediately after any questionable incident!

However we need to take a step back and look at each situation individually and not paint ALL police as evil and racist! Millions of “interactions” are handled every year without theses outcomes.

But here is food for thought… we were taught not to believe all Black people, especially Black men are drug addicted, thieves and murders? Then with the past and ever increasing current robberies, shootings and murders,  would it be fair to the Black race to revert back to painting everyone with the same broad brush?

During this time of political upheaval,  I am tired of hearing the words and phrases, racism, racist, systemic racism and let’s not forget slavery and reparations!

I also have a problem with this new agenda of erasing history. Good Bad or Indifferent it is OUR HISTORY and it can’t nor be wiped away. Why do I have a problem with it? Because some people want to pick history apart to defend their agendas.
For example SLAVERY. Some people will have you believe that is began and ended in the United States  WRONG!!!!!!

Slavery was a common way of life hundreds of years ago by great empires, well before the United States of American was even thought about!

One of the most prolific was the Roman Empire. With every conquest, Rome increased their slave count to work as servants but many were placed into their armies. The Bible speaks of how the Egyptians enslaved the Israelites!
Lesser known Portugal, had a strong slave trade relationship with several African tribes. Read Brazil’s history! An African from the Bakongo tribe named Ganga Zumba was taken into slavery and onto Brazil. He later built his own large slave compound right at the main port of entry for the slave trade.

Due to internal wars within Africa, tribes were either enslaved by their captors or sold in the lucrative slave trade market. Many tribes would just roam the continent, wage war with other tribes for the sole intent and purpose to sell slaves! I am sure White slave traders were not going deep into unknown African territories by themselves, when they could just wait at the shore line and have slaves brought to them. The  whole area from the Caribbean into South America was populated by slavery long before it came to the US shores.

My second issue is the idea being pushed that America is a White Racist Society. Well here again HISTORY will paint a different picture.  The Underground Railroad was a perfect example of how White abolitionist especially the Quakers made connections for escaped slaves  to leave Southern States  and get to places such as Pa, NY, NJ and other Northern states and on into Canada Most were using their homes and churches as stations, safe houses or depots. Harriet Tubman heralded for the Undergound Railroad, was an escaped slave who later became a “conductor” to assist other slaves. But she was not the inventor of the system, as she came along after this was all established!
The GOP or Grand Old Party was founded in 1854  by people who opposed the Democratic Kansa-Nebraska Act which was to allow the expansion of slavery into western territories.
Now I challenge you to fast forward into the 60’s and follow the chain of liberating changes made for Black Americans, by…..you guessed it White politicians.
The question you need to ask yourself ( if you ARE honest with yourself), is with increase of Black politicians in all aspects of government from Local to State to Federal positions, WHY DO places like Baltimore, Chicago, areas in NY, NJ, CA, PA and many other areas still have ghettos, still have projects that are beyond poverty level habitats and educational systems that are lacking the technical materials required to compete in this every changing technical world?

Instead of making stupid biased political comments……Actors, Actresses, Musicians (of all genres), Athletes and Politicians who have made millions and live lifestyles the average American Black,  Brown or White can only dream about….. why don’t you put your money where your mouth is!  Put a laptop or I-Pad in EVERY child’s hand, pay for the school system’s WiFi account,  so EVERY child can logon on and not put a financial strain on the parents! Build homes for the homeless and put money into programs for training to get a good job, to get back on their feet instead of choosing between the streets or a dangerous homeless shelter.

America is not a racist society. It does have racist and prejudiced people and that is the nature of the individual.

I watched the so-called demonstrations and I saw everyone had a cell phone.

I saw jeans, sneakers, shorts, back packs,  I didn’t see anyone lacking “things”. Try getting those items in parts of rural China, some aren’t allowed the internet.  Or try getting any kind of food you want in Venezuela.

America as far as I am concerned is the greatest Nation on earth and I am Proud to be an American. GOD Bless America! PERIOD.

I just watched the Biden – Harris official press release. I use the word hypocrisy but I really wanted to say liars on display.  Harris was chosen to down play Biden’s past and present racial statements! As if we can’t see the ploy!

Harris has no proven “for the people” ideology. That was made clear when Tulsi Gabbard ripped her apart during a Democratic debate. Per Tulsi, Harris put 1500 people in jail for marijuana But joked how she smoked. I wonder what demographic made up those convictions? She maintained cash bail and kept prisoners beyond their terms for cheap labor.

Biden through out his career, has made many racists comments! And even more recently targeting Black Americans!

Under President Trump we have seen a growing economy, we have witnessed his constant fight to bring manufacturing and agricultural jobs back to US soil. To blame him for this COVID -19 pandemic is ridiculous.  Even with mixed messages and bad info from the WHO, President Trump halted travel from China and ultimately Europe he SAVED lives but was criticized as xenophobic by Biden and other Democrats!
Last but not least… what had the Obama-Biden administration done for Black AMERICA -All  AMERICANS for that matter. Obama told you to forget manufacturing ever coming back to the US. He didn’t even try.
If the majority of Black Americans get taken in by this political stunt…. Then you may have proven Biden partially right…..you do think alike. SMH

The death of George Floyd is a tragedy, EVERYONE, whether they are Black, Brown or White agrees!!! That is not the issue!

We have the right to protest by law! And the protests during the day have been powerful and peaceful. But the lawlessness, the vandalism, the looting that starts almost on cue when the sun goes down is well orchestrated and targeted. Whether it is outside agitators or  locals taking advantage of the situation, it has to stop. The majority of the violence is occurring and hurting the Black & Brown communities that that are succeeding in making strides to create a better community! Stop the destruction of what others have worked so hard to create or maintain! You have hurt the Black & Brown entrepreneurs, you have crushed their dreams and successes. You have destroyed businesses that employeed Black & Brown people! In Minneapolis a construction site for an affordable housing complex was burned to the ground!

But most importantly is the visual destruction of the integrity of Black & Brown people. I remember when there was an out cry concerning  the Black exploitation movies of the 70’s that stereotyped the race as violent and criminal. Well thanks to the actions of theses thugs and agitators, we don’t need a movie,  it is broadcast live nightly for the whole world to see!!!

To ALL so called political leaders, community activists , actors and athletes, you should speak up for the protest but speak out against the violence! Your silence on that aspect is deafening!  For those that have condoned the destruction of property your words are just as bad as the actions and you are fueling the actions to continue!

We need peace, we need prayer and we need common sense and the willingness to have honest conversations.  It needs to start now!

The lesson that should be learned from the COVID-19 is that The United States Of America must not be reliant on foreign countries for our pharmaceuticals,  our manufacturing and our agriculture.

I am usually not one to play the conspiracy card, however reports show the Chinese knew of the virus in November 2019. Coincidentally the Wuhan Institute of Virology is only about 20 miles away from the original outbreak area. So one has to wonder, was it a common virus engineered to mutate and become highly contagious?Did it get out before China could strike an unprepared USA? A country who would literally have to beg for medical supplies, the ingredients for medications. To stand by and watch what is happening, a stall of the US economy and panic among the citizens.

POTUS has been warning us of this situation thru his America First and MAGA agenda.  And we should all be listening! If you weren’t before you should be NOW!

More and more people have already moved out of NJ, in the process of moving out or have an exit  plan! Why? Because it is a high tax State and the Governor basically told residents if high taxes aren’t for you than NJ is not the State for you! Hmmmm that sounds so supportive and  inviting.

NJ Middle class residents beware. You may say “yeah”  let them pay more, but there is a tragic downside and it ends in your pocket!

Those of higher incomes are the people paying for those large homes and mansions. Look in most communities,  where there is an upscale neighborhood. Those property taxes can range from $29K to &60K and higher! If those same people move out that tax burden will inevitably fall back on the remaining residents to shoulder the load! But wait!! What happens to the small businesses that rely on those contracts. Landscapers are a huge base that would suffer immediately! Housekeepers are next! Wait don’t forget about the cleaners, salons and restaurants and other small businesses who rely on the patronage  from those same people!

BE WARE NJ RESIDENTS – they are coming for your money!

One million Black families to get homes? How? More Black owned businesses? How? More wealth for future generations? Medicare for all. How? Free Education. How

Young Black Republicans, please SCHOOL your elders who are holding on to the JFK, Clinton Democratic ideology! That is gone! It left when past administrations ( including old Republicans) sold out your livelihood by closing auto and manufacturing plants.  Leaving your cities and families in disarray.  And what did Obama say…forget about manufacturing it’s not coming back! Where did it go? China Mexico, Japan and Canada to start!

The Democrats think they can buy the Black and Brown vote by dangling freebies!

Prosperity will come through the resurgence of jobs . POTUS is bringing back jobs!

Listen… Everyone should have their eyes wide open now with the CoronaVirus. National security officials are worried that China supplies us with medicines like penicillin, and key ingredients for a majority of drugs Americans rely on and most medical supplies for our hospitals! That should increase the support for POTUS to keep renegotiating trade deals and level the playing field!

If you have the talent, create a start up company and begin making the products that we need! Join the fight for America!

Maybe it is me but….. I just saw where  MLB is reviewing minor league contracts. Considering a 38- 72% raise. Do you get that kind of raise at your 12 month a year job? I don’t! NFL bench players get $295k and practice squad players get $129.2k. How many jobs for the average person can command that salary.  And professional sports salaries are off the charts.

On to politics- Bernie Sanders supposedly raised $25 million in January 2020 alone. Bloomberg has spent over 200 million on ads for his campaign! Steyer has spent approximately 141.1 million. Trump’s grass roots movement and RNC has raised over 300 million.

Now let’s imagine how that money could be better spent! There is a severe homeless crisis  and there are people and families living at or below poverty levels throughout the US. NYC Housing Authority can’t maintain heat and hot water. NJ property taxes are out of control pushing people to leave the state! Infrastructure is deteriorating in the Greater NYC Northeast area. Families rendered homeless due to natural disasters.

With all this money being available for sports, entertainment and politics and millionaires willing to part with their fortunes, there should be no issues in the USA at all! Our priorities need to be examined.

As I watched OUR President Of The United States, Donald J. Trump give a resounding State of the Union Address, I was deeply saddened. Regardless of whether you voted for President Trump or not…or you like him or not, he IS the President and deserves the respect that the position commands.
It was disheartening to watch certain Congress Men & Women openly show disrespect or disinterest. Some sneered, some looked bored while he spoke. One looked asleep! Is this what we want our children to see? Our children to learn? Our children and young impressionable young adults to emulate?
Through out the speech he spoke of positive achievements and plans for a bright future. He recognized various people of different races, ages and backgrounds for their contributions and aspirations.
But after such a heart felt message what did I see?  I witnessed the Speaker of the House ceremoniously rip up her copy of the speech and toss it aside.

Have we as a people forgotten respect? In schools they speak of bullying, but at the root of bullying is disrespect. Practice what you preach Congress and lead by example…..for once.

Here is another example of government over-reach! NJ State government is trying to force a bill through under the false premise of public health. That is nothing more than fear mongering based on a small outbreak of the measles among one small sector of a community. Most parents do support immunization and have been immunized along with their children. Immunization in itself is not the fight. The fight is with government making decisions for adults, parents and doctors! My question is… if there has been any significant resurgence of diseases, has anyone addressed what diseases or viruses are coming from the illegal immigrates coming in from all parts of the world! History shows in the 1900 ships filled with immigrants were stopped at a quarantine checkpoint so doctors could look for dangerous and or contagious diseases. Then those checked immigrants were loaded onto steam ships to land at Ellis Island, where they were examined again and some were quarantined there! If people are allowed to just “come in” then health experts aren’t given an opportunity to do their job and stop health problems. Sanctuary States and cities obviously don’t take that into consideration. The sanctuary/immigration issue has added to the increased homelessness conditions in far too many areas including major cities. This is resulting in poor or nonexistent hygiene, urine and feces on sidewalks, rat infestation and illegal drug use. Each of these conditions has lead to recent outbreaks of diseases such as typhus, shigellosis, Bartonella Quintana, Hepatitis A and more! Address that! Attack that! Not families just trying to protect their kids!
Back to New Jersey… everyone should be up in arms about this, not just parents. Because today it is children, tomorrow it is all of us being made to succumb to vaccines or medicines we don’t want or need!
Last point… I thought WE the PEOPLE elect officials to act at the will OF the PEOPLE!
